We spent Thanksgiving on a 3 hour hike around Discovery Park.
Part of the park contains a beautiful, sacred place to the local Native American tribes of Squamish, Muckleshoot, Tulalip, and Snoqualmie.
Bernie White Bear Daybreak Star Garden at the Daybreak Star Indian Cultural Center. While the cultural center was closed this day for COVID or the holiday, we were able to walk around, pay respects, and peek inside the building.
WE made special wishes for peace, health, and happiness while we explored the Garden and then throughout the hike, along the cliffs at Discovery Park.
It was a nice way to spend the Thanksgiving holiday.
